Ridership at 20 Metro station poor

BENGALURU: The Namma Metro has become an integral part of the city with Bengalureans relying on it for quick commute. Every day, 8-9 lakh people travel in the Namma Metro including the Green, Purple and Yellow Lines.

However, 20 metro stations across the city see less passengers travelling across the purple, yellow and green lines on a daily basis. The BMRCL authorities are yet to identify why the daily passenger footfall is low at some of these stations.

Mahakavi Kuvempu Road – 5,869 (Station with highest in these 20)
