ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024: Nandini logo adorns Scotland team jersey

BENGALURU: Nandini, the popular brand of milk and milk products of Karnataka, now adorns the jersey of the Scotland team which will be participating in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament beginning June 2. The tournament is being hosted by West Indies and the USA.

The Scotland recently unveiled the team jersey with the Nandini logo in both Kannada and English. The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which owns the Nandini brand, is sponsoring the Scotland and Ireland teams and is spending about Rs 2.5 crore each on the sponsorships.

The group stage matches will be held till June 18 and the Super-8 stage matches will be held till June 24. The semifinals will be held on June 26 and 27 while the finals will be held at Barbados in the West Indies on June 29.

In the group stage, India will play three of the four matches in New York and one in Florida. One June 5, India will play Ireland and the USA on June 12. On June 15, Team India will face off with Canada while the much anticipated match between India and Pakistan will be held on June 9 at New York.

  • Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, USA.
  • Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman.
  • Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea.
  • Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, The Netherlands and Nepal.
