BENGALURU: Two people died on the spot and three others seriously injured after the SUV in which they were travelling went off the road and overturned after the driver lost control, near Kambalu village in Nelamangala taluk late on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Pavan and Deepak. The accident occurred last night while they were returning after celebrating a friend’s birthday party. The injured have been shifted to a private hospital.
Police suspect that the driver may have been overspeeding. The Dobbspet police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
