TUMAKURU: In a show of humanity, a deputy superintendent of police shifted an accident victim who was writhing in pain to the hospital in his own vehicle and got him admitted.
Mallesh Doddamani, the Deputy SP of Kudligi sub-division, was heading to Bengaluru for work on Tuesday evening when he came across a car accident near Kallambella, near Sira. The driver of the car had suffered serious injuries and was writhing in a pool of blood.
Seeing this, Deputy SP Mallesh Doddamani stopped his vehicle, immediately took the injured person to Sira Government Hospital in his own car and got him admitted for treatment. Local widely appreciated the Deputy SP for the timely act.
