Darshan likely to undergo surgery in Mysuru around Sankranti

MYSURU: Actor Darshan, who is the second accused in the Renukaswamy murder case and is currently out on bail, is expected to undergo surgery around Sankranti.

Darshan had been undergoing conservative treatment at BGS Gleneagles Hospital near Kengeri and shifted to his farm house near Mysuru after he was discharged.

Darshan, who has begun dubbing for his latest movie ‘Devil’, is expected to undergo surgery for his back problem before he gets fully involved in the production of the movie. On the advise of doctors, he is already on medication and is doing exercises.

Dr Ajay Hegde will perform the surgery at a hospital in Msyuru.

Darshan’s family doctor Dr Ajay Hegde is expected to conduct the surgery in a hospital in Mysuru around the time of the Sankranti festival. He will stay in the hospital for a few days for post-operative care.

The actor is likely to get back to movies from February, but cannot shoot fight scenes for at least another two months after the surgery. Till then, he will complete shooting of other parts of the movie, Dr Ajay Hedge said.
