RAICHUR: The police conducted a raid at the Raichur city railway station and arrested one person who was carrying illicit alcohol made from CH powder (dry alcohol) for sale, on Thursday night.
The accused had brought the illicit liquor from Telangana, filled in bottles, and was planning to sell it in Raichur. As soon as he brought the illicit liquor outside the railway station, the police caught the accused Mallesh and seized 59 litres illegal liquor from him.
Based on definite information, police arrested the accused and seized the illicit liquor. A case has been registered at the West police station.
