BENGALURU: The KR Pura police, who are investigating the triple murder of a couple and their younger daughter, have found a plastic drum, cutter and hammer at the house of one of the accused, Kenneth. His live-in partner M Shwetha, a software engineer, was arrested on Wednesday from Puducherry.
Police have recovered the plastic drum and other articles from the rented house of Kenneth in Doddanekkundi. Apart from the Seegehalli flat belonging to Shwetha, where the triple murder took place, Kenneth has another rented house.

Several suspicions have arisen for police over the plastic drum, cutter, and hammer. Also, after murdering three people, Kenneth and Shweta went straight to the Doddanekkundi house. There, they mixed chilli powder in hot water and scattered it around the house. Then, the accused washed their blood-stained hands in that same water and escaped.
Kenneth had moved to the Seegehalli flat just two months ago but had retained the house in Doddanekkundi where he lived earlier. It is suspected that if Shwetha’s father and younger sister had not come to her flat on Monday night, the duo may have planned to shift the mother Muthulakshmi’s body and destroy it. For that reason, it is suspected that the mother’s body was kept in the toilet.
Currently, police have arrested Shwetha and are conducting intense interrogation, and are searching intensely for Kenneth.
