DHARWAD: Two people died when their speeding car overturned after hitting the road divider on the National Highway-4 near Teguru village in Dharwad taluk.
One person died on the spot and the other died in Dharwad Hospital without responding to treatment. Another was admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Vinaya Hiremath (28) and Sandeep (29). The youths had gone to a dhaba from Dharwad for dinner last night. The car hit the divider while they were returning .
The incident took place under Garaga police station limits. The accident scene was captured on the CCTV camera. It is alleged that the car was at high speed.
