BENGALURU: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is expected to present its budget on Thursday with an outlay of about Rs 10,000 crore.
With the elections just months away, the civic body is expected to announce some populist schemes. A Shravan housing scheme for the elderly and a Savitribai Phule housing scheme for working women are likely to be announced.
Also, it is expected that funds will be set aside for running of Indira Canteens.
