BENGALURU: A motorcycle rider was killed after a private bus ran over him near the Malemahadeshwar temple on the Nagarbhavi Outer Ring Road on Saturday. The deceased bike rider has been identified as Murali (40).
A speeding private bus collided with the bike causing the motorcycle rider to fall on the road, and the bus ran over Murali’s head, killing him on the spot. The Jnanabharati traffic police arrested the bus driver. The body has been sent to Victoria Hospital for autopsy.
The Jnanabharati traffic police have taken up further investigation after receiving a complaint from the family of the deceased.
