BENGALURU: The monsoon will enter Karnataka from June 5, according to the Meteorological Department forecast. After the onset of the monsoon in Kerala, it will enter the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is no delay in monsoon and it is entering normally and on time. Rain has been forecast in the state for the next five days from Tuesday in several districts of the state.
A yellow alert has been sounded for eight districts including Gadag and Mysuru while there is a possibility of moderate rain in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Rain may disrupt Chief Minister-designate DK Shivakumar’s oath-taking ceremony on Wednesday as the weather department has forecast that Bengaluru will receive moderate rain.
