23 cobra hatchlings found at one spot in Hoskote, rescued

BENGALURU: Twenty three rare snake hatchlings appeared by the roadside Near Milan Convention Hall on Kannurahalli Road in Hoskote town, Bengaluru Rural district, early on Tuesday morning. They were rescued by snake expert C S Nagabhushan.

The 23 cobra hatchlings were found at one spot, and locals were astonished to see so many tiny snakes. They immediately informed snake expert Nagabhushan. Acting on the information given by locals, snake expert C S Nagabhushan visited the spot and safely rescued all the hatchlings.

The rare rescue operation has received widespread appreciation from the public. Nagabhushan appealed that when snakes are seen, people should not kill them and should immediately inform snake experts or the Forest Department. The snake expert said public awareness is essential for the conservation of snakes.
