BENGALURU: Another FIR has been registered against Hindu activist Chaitra Kundapur for allegedly cheating a shop owner in selling Sanatan Dharma clothes.

The FIR, registered against Chaitra at Kota police station based on a complaint by Sudin Kodikanyana, the shop owner, says Chaitra cheated him of Rs 5 lakh in 2018.

According to Sudin, he first transferred Rs 3 lakh to her account and gave another Rs 2 lakh in cash. However, Chaitra neither returned the money nor arranged for supply of the clothes. Chaitra even threatened to file a rape case, if the owner asked for the money back. Thus, Sudin did not file a complaint against Chaitra, the FIR states.

Chaitra has been kept in a rehabilitation centre for women and carried a book titled ‘Sakshatkarada Dariyalli’ by BGL Swami, while going to the centre.
