BIDAR: A bus driver of the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) was caught on camera scrolling and watching YouTube videos while driving at high speed near Rajeshwar village in Basavakalyan taluk on National Highway-9.
The bus (KA 32 F 1844) was plying between Basavakalyan and Humnabad. Scared women passengers of the shot a video of the reckless act of the driver watching videos with his phone in one hand and his other hand on the steering wheel. The video has since gone viral on social media.
Several other passengers took the bus driver to task and have demanded that the corporation take strict action against drivers endangering the lives of passengers.
