BENGALURU: The Surya Nagar police have arrested four ganja peddlers, who were selling it to college students near Chandapura and Dommasandra railway stations. The accused were presented before court and remanded to judicial custody.
The arrested are Abhi (19), Tarun Kumar (20), Surya (21) and Harsha (21), residents of Channakesava Nagar on Hosa Road in Anekal taluk.
The Surya Nagar police raided the drug peddlers based on information given by locals Babu and Prabhakara Reddy. When the police raided the place, the accused tried to escape, but the police chased them and arrested them.
The police seized ganja worth lakhs of rupees from the accused.
