BENGALURU: The Kodigehalli police have arrested three people, including a dance teacher, for repeatedly gangraping a college student after threatening her with some private photos. The arrested are Andy George, Santhosh and Shashi.
The prime accused Andy George, a dance teacher at a private college, came in contact with the student about two years ago through social media about two years ago.
Andy convinced her that he was in love with her and took her around to different places and took some private photos and videos. Later, he blackmailed her with the same photos and videos and repeatedly raped her along with his two associates.
Unable to bear the continued sexual assault, the victim lodged a complaint based on which the three have been arrested. The police have seized mobile phones, pen drives and laptop from them in which photos and videos were stored. It is suspected that the trio may have been involved in more such cases and the police are questioning them.
