BENGALURU: A man was murdered by his cousin after he questioned the latter about talking to his wife for long hours. The deceased is Sandeep Kumar and the incident occurred in Chikkajala police limits last Friday night and the police have arrested the accused Subodh Mandal.
Sandeep and Subodh hail from Bihar and the former had come to Bengaluru in search of work some years ago. He was living with some friends in a room in Chikkajala. Three months ago, Subodh came to Bengaluru and used to talk for long to Sandeep’s wife on the phone, leading Sandeep to suspect an illegal relationship.
On Friday night, the two got into an argument over the issue while drinking. After Sandeep fell asleep, Suboth murdered him and fled. Sandeep was found dead only 24 hours later by a friend, who informed the Chikkajala police. The illegal relationship came to light after the police arrested Subodh. Further investigation is on.
