BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra to roll from March 1, will cover all Assembly seats

BENGALURU: Bharatiya Janata Party national president (BJP) Jagat Prakash Nadda will inaugurate the party’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra vehicles on Wednesday (March 1) which will cover the state from four directions.

The Yatras, led by leaders Jagadish Shettar, R Ashoka, K S Eshwarappa and Govind Karjol, will cover all the 224 Assembly constituencies and will reach out to all communities and sections of society. The yatras, combined, will traverse 8,000 km in 15 days and will include 80 processions, 75 public rallies, 150 roadshows. The party is aiming at securing 150 seats in the Asembly election.

On March 1, Nadda will flag off the first yatra from Male Mahadeshwara Hills, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will launch the second one from Nandgad in Belagavi district, the birthplace of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, on March 2. On March 3, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the third yatra from Basavakalyan in Bidar district and the fourth one from Devanahalli near Bengaluru, the birthplace of the city’s founder Nadaprabhu Kempegowda.

Specious interior design with home theater, audio system, CCTV cameras, LED screen, smart TV, WiFi system are available.

Four buses, with special features for the Vijay Sankalp Yatra from March 1, said MLC N Ravikumar. The buses will travel all the districts in the state ahead of Assembly election campaign.

The buses are specially designed by Ashok Leyland company and are 30 feet long and 8 feet wide, with spacious seating arrangements and well equipped utilities. Provision has been made for leaders to make speeches while standing in the vehicle. Each bus can accommodate about 12 people at a time and seven people can sit comfortably.

The bus consists of a home theatre and music systems, CCTV cameras, LED screens, smart TV and wifi.
