Bidar Utsav: Mangli, Kumar Sanu have crowds tapping feet to hit numbers

The Bidar Utsav was held after a gap of 10 years.

BIDAR: Popular playback singers Kumar Sanu and Satyavathi Rathod popularly known as Mangli, enthralled the crowds on the second day of the Bidar Utsav during the musical evening on Sunday.

Mangli belted out some popular number including ‘Neene Rajakumara’, ‘Ra Ra Rakkamma’ and ‘Kannu Hodeyaaka’, holding the crowd of lakhs in raptures while some youngsters danced. She even had the crowds craving ‘Once More’, to her performances.

Playback singer Kumar Sanu treated the audience to some 90s hits.

Kumar Sanu performed some 90s hits including ‘Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Baazigar o Baazigar’ and even the Kannada song ‘Devaru Varavanu Kottare’ as the crowds whistled and danced. Singers Anuradha Bhat and Veer Samarth too regaled the audience with their performances.

The historic Bidar Utsav is being held after a gap of a decade and the crowds soaked in all the merriment.
