KALABURAGI: A woman and her child died on the spot in a horrific accident between auto and lorry on the outskirts of Wadi town in Chittapur taluk on Thursday. The deceased are Sharanamma (30) and her three-month-old baby.
When coming to Wadi town, a lorry hit the auto, resulting in mother and child dying on the spot, while mother-in-law Sabamma and auto driver Khaja Patel have been seriously injured. They have been admitted to government hospital and being treated.
A case has been registered in this regard at Wadi police station.
