BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police women’s unit has exposed a grand rave party that was being held at the ‘C-9’ villa in the upscale Sector 6 of HSR Layout.
Taking advantage of the fact that it is an area where officers live and that police would hesitate to conduct a raid, a gang had organised a rave party in this very layout. The villa was booked under the name ‘Rev Key Hospitality Service’ by paying a rent of Rs 20,000 per day.

In the name of a house party, a WhatsApp group was created and invitations were sent to young men and women through the Amigos app. Entry fee was fixed at Rs 1,099 for men and Rs 499 for women. On weekends, liquor, hookah and other illegal activities were carried out for fun.
Acting on specific information, CCB police conducted a raid and arrested Dikshit, Vedant Pandit and Shankar, who had organised the party. A case has also been registered against the house owner at HSR Layout police atation.
However, the fact that such a large-scale illegal party was happening within the jurisdiction and yet the local HSR Layout police had no information, and what they were doing until the CCB raided, has now raised a lot of doubts among the public.
