BENGALURU: A youth was hacked to death by unidentified assailants with a machete in the wee hours on Sunday on 80 Feet Road in Hanumanth Nagar. The deceased has been identified as Vijay (21).
The incident took place around 1 am near the Srinivasa Nagar bus stand in Hanumanth Nagar and the miscreants who came in an autorickshaw killed Vijay with sharp weapons.
A case has been registered in this regard at Hanumanta Nagar police station. Police suspect that a fight broke out between the friends in a drunken state during which one of them was killed.
