BENGALURU: The Raj Bhavan staff have lodged a complaint at the Cyber Crime police station alleging that fake profiles in the name of Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot were created on social media platform Facebook.
Some unidentified fraudsters have opened fake accounts in the name of the governor and there may be a possibility of misusing his photo and name, the complaint said while mentioning the URL Id:https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100072776319229&mibextid=ZbWKwL.
Special secretary to the governor, Prabhushankar, lodged the complaint with the CCB police and sought suitable action against the accused. The police registered an FIR and started investigation to nab those who created the fake profile.
