BENGALURU: With rising cases of dengue, chikungunya and the scare of monkeypox, the BBMP has taken up the task of fumigating residential areas.
The civic agency staff are spraying drains and places where there is stagnant water around SP Road in the city. Already, cases of dengue and chikungunya are rising in all the eight zone of BBMP. To add to it, there is the threat of the monkeypox virus.
There is also a slight uptick in the daily number of fresh Covid-19 cases. Hence, BBMP is taking steps to curb the spread of these diseases.
