CHIKKODI: Residents of Katral village in Kagwad taluk were in for a shock when they found a huge crocodile in a pit on the outskirts of the village on Thursday.
The village is on the banks of a river and the crocodile was stuck in one part of the pit which had been dug up. The villagers immediately informed the Forest Department, who along with some locals, rescued the animal.
