BENGALURU: In a major shock for vehicle users in the city, entry to Race Course Road from Maurya Circle junction will be closed for the next two months with effect from Wednesday. The road in the heart of the city is closed for white-topping work from Maurya Circle junction till old Congress office on Race Course Road.
This is bound to create problems for vehicle users. For motorists coming from Majestic side from KR Circle side, it was easy to enter Maurya Circle junction towards Race Course and connect to Chalukya Circle, Race Course, Kumara Krupa, Palace Road.
But vehicle users will now have to follow alternative route. Those coming from Majestic can use Anand Rao Circle flyover to go towards Race Course as an alternative route for the next two months. It remains to be seen whether work will be completed in two months or if there will be any delay in execution of the work.
