BENGALURU: After battling for life for 23 days, Telugu actor Taraka Ratna died without responding treatment at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences near Bommasandra in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Preparations are being made to shift the body to Hyderabad. The Hebbagodi police have deployed additional forces in the vicinity of the hospital.
On January 27, Taraka Ratna fell unconscious, reportedly due to exhaustion, during a Padyatra (foot march) in Andhra Pradesh’s Kuppam area.
Taraka Tatna, the grandson of acting legend NT Rama Rao, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. There, the doctors suggested that he be shifted to Bengaluru for better treatment.
As per reports, after initial treatment at a private hospital in Kuppam, Taraka Ratna was shifted to Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital for further treatment. Since then, he was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
