BENGALURU: A speeding Mercedes car crashed into an electricity pole after hitting a motorcycle at JP Nagar 8th phase on Saturday. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Due to the impact, the motorcycle rider was thrown on the car. Locals immediately shifted him to a hospital. While the front portion of the car was badly damaged, the electricity pole had also broken.
It is suspected that the driver lost control of the car, leading to the accident. The Jayanagar traffic police visited the spot and registered a case.
