Priests from Sringeri to conduct rituals during new Parliament building inauguration

CHIKKAMAGALUR: The rituals as part of the inauguration of the new Parliament building in New Delhi on Sunday will be conducted by priests from Sringeri.

Three priests from Sringeri, Sitaram Sharma, Srirama Sharma and Lakshmish Tantri, have already reached Delhi. On Saturday, they will conduct Vastu homa and on Sunday morning, they will conduct Ganapati homa apart from other rituals in connection with the inauguration of the new Parliament building.

In 2020, when the foundation stone for the Parliament building was laid, six priests from Sringeri, led by Ganesh Somayaji, Shivakumar Sharma, Lakshmish Tantri, had conducted the rituals.
