BENGALURU: The police have finally identified the elderly man, who molested a woman in the games zone of Lulu Mall last Sunday based on the video footage shared on social media. But the accused has fled after locking his house.
The police identified the accused as Ashwath Narayan (60), a resident of Basaveshwar Nagar. He had behaved with women at Lulu Mall three days ago and a video of him groping a woman was posted online by a social media user urging the police to take action.
The accused had retired as a head teacher eight months ago from a school run by a reputed math. One, Yashwanth had videographed the man sexually harassing a woman, posted the video on social media, and tagged the Bengaluru police. The video went viral quickly. Meanwhile, the Magadi Road police are continuing their search for the accused.
