BENGALURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are scheduled to make official visits to the state during November.
The Karnataka Legislative Assembly election is five-and-half months away. From the end of October till December, the BJP has planned several conventions in the state. As part of its election campaign strategy, the party has planned six huge conventions in the coming days.
On November 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the state to inaugurate the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) Terminal 2 and unveil the 108-foot-tall statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the state to participate in a ST convention to be held on November 20.
The duo’s visit into the state is a big boost to the state BJP and is expected to create positive vibes for the party, going in to the elections. The visits by the two top leaders is also expected to give ammunition to the state BJP to hit back at the Congress. It is also expected to enthuse the party cadre as the election draws closer.
