MYSURU: A woman was stabbed multiple times to death by her husband with a knife over a trivial reason. The incident occurred at Kumbarakoppal in Mysuru.
The deceased has been identified as Harshita (21) and the accused is Madesh (30), a resident of Beerambali village in Gundlupet taluk.
Madesh and Harshita got married a year ago and initially their everything was fine between the couple. But gradually, they got into fights quite often over trivial reasons. Annoyed by this, Harshita went to her hometown.
Following this, Madesh came her house to take her with him. When she refused, Madesh killed her by stabbing her multiple times with a knife. He also attempted to attack his mother-in-law who intervened in their fight.
The Metagalli police rushed to the scene on getting information and have arrested Madesh.
