BAGALKOT: A group of girls were teased and one of them assaulted at the Rabkavi bus stand by three youths when they were waiting for a bus, on Wednesday. One of the girls was assaulted and is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.
The girls were on their way to college when they were approached by three youths who teased them, clicked their pictures and demanded their phone numbers. When the girls declined, one of them was badly assaulted.
The Terdal police have arrested Anwar Makandar, Ayan Patel and Javed Ali Ahmed in connection with the case. The injured student’s parents refused to speak about the incident.
