MANDYA: A man has been arrested for hunting wild animals in Kuridoddi village of Maddur taluk and dead animals and a country-made rifle from him. The arrested is Shivaraj, hailing from Kanakapura.

The Forest Department officials conducted an operation to nab the accused with the help of locals and recovered four dead wild hares, a civet cat and a car apart from the rifle.
