Kumaraswamy skips hearing in land denotification case citing high blood pressure

BENGALURU: Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday skipped the hearing in a land denotification case before the special court of elected representatives, citing high blood pressure.

Kumaraswamy had been directed by the court to be personally present himself on Tuesday (March 21) in connection with the case related to denotification of land at Halagevaderahalli. Kumaraswamy has skipped several hearings and had been directed to compulsorily present himself.

The case was filed by one Mahadevaswamy of Chamarajanagar alleging that 2 acres and 30 guntas of land at Halagevaderahalli in Banashankari 5th Stage was denotified with Kumaraswamy was chief minister in 2006. The court has adjourned further hearing to April 14.
