KSRTC to introduce 50 electric buses by March 15

BENGALURU: The electric buses introduced by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) between Bengaluru and Mysuru has evoked good response.

The PowerPlus services were started from January 16 and the transport utility will introduce 25 more buses in the next 10 days and 50 buses by March 15. The electric buses have earned Rs 3.77 lakh in January and Rs 5.36 lakh in February.

With a running cost of Rs 68 per km, the KSRTC plans to introduce more electric buses in the coming days.
