BENGALURU: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar, along with his family members, visited the Mahakaleshwar temple at Ujjain and performed special puja on Sunday. He performed Rudrabhishek, a special homa at the temple and sought the blessings of Lord Mahakal.

D K Shivakumar will appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday, as he skipped the summons from the central agency on November 7 stating that he will be participating in a Congress worker’s birthday party.

Last week, he was occupied with the Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge’s welcome programme on the latter’s first visit to Karnataka after the party election. The event was held on November 6 at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.

According to Congress sources, Shivakumar will leave for Delhi tomorrow from Ujjain and will present himself before the ED for questioning in connection with the National Herald money laundering case.
