Public TV’s two-day ‘Vidhyapeeta’ education expo draws highest-ever footfall so far

BENGALURU: The sixth edition of ‘Vidhyapeeta’, Karnataka’s biggest-ever education expo presented by Public TV on the theme ‘Today’s Learning, Tomorrow’s Light’ in collaboration with Ad6, concluded successfully on Sunday, with record-high footfall so far.

The two-day ‘Vidhyapeeta’ expo, held at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, commenced on Saturday and received an unprecedented response. On Sunday, the last day of the expo, more than 10,000  students and parents visited visited the venue and made full use of the opportunity by consulting many education institutions and experts under one roof.

The expo received greater response than expected and, over the last two day, more than 17,000 people participated.

On the last day, handwriting expert Dr Rafiullah Baig delivered a special lecture and had students spellbound with his inspiring talk.

Students were delighted with the special lecture on ‘COMEDK and CET’. Women’s College Principal Ravi shared information about CET seat selection, fees structure and other issues. The winners of many competitions were also presented gifts.

Public TV Managing Director H R Ranganath honoured representatives of the educational institutions which participated in the expo by giving them mementos during the valedictory ceremony. Bicycles were distributed to 15 lucky students and laptops to four students.
