UDUPI: Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Saturday visited the famous Sri Mookambika Temple at Kollur in Udupi district and offered special prayers.
The CM arrived at the pilgrimage site early on Saturday morning and performed special prayers at the shrine of Sri Mookambika Devi and received blessings. This is Satheesan’s first visit to Kollur after becoming the Chief Minister of Keralam.

Satheesan is known to be a staunch devotee of Kollur Mookambika Devi. In light of his visit, tight police security arrangements were made at the temple. The CM arrived at the temple with Z-plus security. After the prayers, the temple administration honoured Chief Minister Satheesan. Later, the CM travelled to Bengaluru via Mangaluru.
