CHITRADURGA: A 33-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years in jail by the Chitradurga 2nd Additional District & Sessions Court for kidnapping a minor girl and raping her.
The court Judge Gangadhara Channabasappa Hadapad sentenced convict Manjunath (33) after the trial in the POCSO case concluded.
The incident had occurred on January 15, 2024 and a case was registered at Holalkere police station. Apart from 20 years rigorous imprisonment, the convict was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 10,000.
