BENGALURU: Income Tax officials on Thursday raided the residence of former MLC M C Venugopal in JP Nagar on Thursday. The former MLC is said to be a close associate of home Minister G Parameshwara.
A team of 15 I-T officials arrived at the Congress leader’s residence in threee cars early today morning and started conducting searches. They were also examining various documents.
The officials even got breakfast delivered to the residence and continued with their search. Venugopal was present in the house when the I-T officials arrived, sources said, and added that he was cooperating with the taxmen.
