Basavaraj had joined his job just a month ago.

KALABURAGI: The warden of a government hostel for students of professional courses in Chikkaballapur, under the Social Welfare Department, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for his alleged involvement in the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) question paper leak scam.

Basavaraj Yalwar had got his job only a month ago and is the 15th accused arrested in the case. He was arrested for leaking the question paper and bribing the invigilator. He had also allegedly paid Rs 40 lakh to the principal of the institute where the examination was conducted.

A case had been registered against Basavaraj at the Ashok Nagar police station in Kalaburagi.
