BENGALURU: A two-minute-long scary video of a brutal murder of a history-sheeter, who was attacked multiple times by three people with machetes, is going viral on social media. The incident occurred on May 25.

The Mahadevapura police have arrested three accused in the case. The accused stabbed the history-sheeter 26 times in a span of 40 seconds.

The deceased has been identified as history-sheeter Renukumar.  The accused Shrikant and Prashant, who killed Renukumar with machetes, are his accomplices. Renukumar was involved in more than seven criminal cases including murder, attempted murder, robbery and assault.

When he was in jail, Renukumar had told the accused, who are his accomplices, in a raised voice that they had increased their activities in the area and warned them to check with him before doing anything, as they were his henchmen. Renukumar was released from jail only a few days ago.

Footage from CCTV camera shows a group of three men on a two-wheeler following the history-sheeter Renukumar and stopping him near an apartment complex. Immediately, Renukumar’s pillion rider ran away from the scene. The three accused first assaulted him and pulled him to the roadside. One of the trio brutally attacked Renukumar with a machete and the video shows the victim fall to the ground, soaked in blood with severe injuries. The three accused then leave on a bike. Two women can also be seen in the video witnessing the murder on the road.
