BENGALURU: A man was arrested for damaging as many as eight vehicles by breaking their windshields and throwing huge stones at them at Byatarayanapura in the wee hours on Thursday.
The arrested Pratap Chandra Beg (29), hailing from West Bengal, was said to be drunk when he went on the rampage. The damaged vehicles include five cars, two goods vehicles and a passengers van.
Apart from breaking the windscreens and throwing stones at the vehicles, Pratap Chandra had also pulled out the music systems and cables in some of the cars. He was caught when he was trying to steal a police patrol motorcycle.
The Byatarayanapura police have arrested him and registered a case.
