Court orders attachment of Janardhana Reddy, wife’s properties worth thousands of crores

A special court has ordered attachment of over 100 properties belonging to the couple.

BENGALURU, CHIKKAMAGALURU: In a huge setback for Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha (KRPP) MLA G Janardhana Reddy and his wife Aruna Lakshmi, a special court for elected representatives has order the attachment of over 100 properties of the couple worth thousands of crores.

Aruna Lakshmi herself has over 75 properties registered in her name. The court has ordered the attachments all their properties acquired after January 2009 which include sites, buildings, vacant land, etc. The CBI, which is investigating an illegal assets case against the former minister, had listed out all the properties before the court.

The family performed the Aksharabhyasa of the granddaughter at Sringeri.

Meanwhile, the family visited Sringeri last Sunday on the occasion of granddaughter Bramara’s birthday and Aksharabhyasa (initiation into learning). They also sought the blessings of the junior seer Jagadguru Vidhushekara Bharati. They also visited the Annapurneshwari temple at Horanadu.
