BENGALURU: The countdown has begun for Karnataka’s biggest education expo, ‘Vidhyapeeta’, presented by Public TV in association with Ad6, with the theme ‘Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow’. This is the sixth edition of the education fair and the two-day event is set to launch on June 3 in a grand manner.
Public TV has set up a huge platform at Gayatri Vihar (Gate No. 4), Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. More than 105 educational institutions and universities are participating under one roof. Vidhyapeeta aims to clear any confusion among parents and children in choosing top educational institutions and courses after PUC II, all under one roof.
Public TV CEO C K Harish Kumar, speaking on the education expo, said, “It is the largest ever education expo in the state. The stage is set at the Gayatri Vihara of Palace Ground, Bengaluru. The sixth edition of Vidhyapeeta will be held on June 3 and 4 and more than 105 educational institutions are participating in the mega expo. Parents and children can get comprehensive information about so many educational institutions and courses under one roof. I think this is a highly knowledge-driven activity”.
He further said, “Besides, to make it interesting for students we have organised a slow cycle race. Students who have scored 60-80 per cent marks, 80-95 per cent or 95-100 per cent marks in second PUC, will get ‘On The Spot’ gifts in recognition of their marks by the sponsors. There will also be a pick-and-speak competition for the students and they will also get prizes”.
“If visitors gave feedback about the event, they will also get interesting gifts at the venue. If there are any suggestions for some improvements, we will definitely look into it. Overall, there will be exchange of information, imparting knowledge and entertainment at ‘Vidhyapeeta’, Harish Kumar explained.
“Apart from this, we also have some officials from COMEDK and NEET, eminent personalities and experts in the field of education delivering special lecture on informative topics. Entry is free and the expo will be held from 10 am to 7 pm”. We are providing students the best platform to make career choices and they should not let go of the opportunity”, Harish noted.
