BENGALURU: Senior Congress leader and former minister Anjanamurthy passed away at the age of 78 after suffering from an illness in the city on Thursday morning.
Anjanamurthy was admitted to a private hospital as he was suffering from severe breathing problems. He did not respond to the treatment and died.
Anjanamurthy was a three-time MLA from Nelamangala and also served as Housing Minister. He was also a Congress ticket aspirant for a upcoming Assembly election.
