BENGALURU: Those dumping garbage outside, be careful. If you throw garbage anywhere, they will not only be fined, a police case will also be filed against them.
If garbage is dumped again at a black spot that has been cleared, a case will be filed. So far, FIRs have been registered against four people for dumping garbage at a place that had been cleaned.

A garbage cleanliness drive is under way within the GBA limits. The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited is removing garbage at places that are garbage black spots. If garbage is dumped again at a spot that was cleared, a police case will be filed against those who dumped it and an FIR will be registered.

Also, marshals will patrol the areas where black spots have been cleared, and if anyone is found dumping garbage, a police case will be filed. Garbage was cleared on Banashankari Main Road in Sarvajna Nagar Ward No. 26 of Bengaluru North Corporation and the road beautified. During night patrol, marshals found four people dumping garbage at the spot that had been cleared.
When they were asked to pay a fine, they refused to pay. So a case has been registered against the four people at Banashankari Police Station and an FIR has also been filed. If garbage is dumped at places that were permanently cleared as garbage black spots and later beautified, it’s certain that along with a fine, a case will also be booked.
