BENGALURU: With the Chandrayaan-3 satellite being successfully placed into the intended orbit, congratulatory messages for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) came in from various quarters on the successful launch.
The space agency chief S Somanath said, “Chandrayaan-3 has started its journey towards the Moon. Our dear LVM3 has already put Chandrayaan-3 craft into the precise around Earth…Let us wish all the best for the Chandrayaan-3 craft to make its farther orbit raising manoeuvres and travel towards the Moon in the coming days”.
President Droupadi Murmu, in a Twitter post, said, “India successfully launches Chandrayaan-3 marking another significant milestone in space exploration. Heartiest congratulations to the @ISRO team and everyone who worked relentlessly to accomplish the feat! It demonstrates the nation’s unwavering commitment to advancement in space science and technology. My best wishes for the success of the lunar mission”.
Minutes after the satellite was put in orbit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Chandrayaan-3 scripts a new chapter in India’s space odyssey. It soars high, elevating the dreams and ambitions of every Indian. This momentous achievement is a testament to our scientists’ relentless dedication. I salute their spirit and ingenuity!”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, “India today embarked on its historic space journey with the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. My heartfelt congratulations to the @ISRO scientists whose tireless pursuit has today propelled India on the path of scripting a remarkable space odyssey for generations to cherish”.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari tweeted, “Proud moment for the whole nation!!

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge posted on Twitter, ” Our collective happiness is Over the Moon!!
