BAGALKOT: A pervert behaved obscenely in from of a hostel inmate by showing his private parts right in middle of road at Navanagar in Bagalkot. But the police have arrested two other youths who went to the girl’s aid and let the pervert go scot-free.
The incident occured on September 17 in Sector 51 of Navanagar and locals beat up the pervert, identified as Sudeep Nadagouda. The girl student had also beat up Sudeep with her footwear. Chetan Kodabagi and Rohan Hadimani had rushed to help the girl student, but they have been arrested by the Navanagar police and sent to jail while no action has been taken against Sudeep.
The family members of the arrested youths have expressed outrage over the police action and claimed that the Navanagar police were behaving arrogantly by not arresting accused Sudeep till now, who is said to be undergoing treatment at a hospital after being thrashed.
The parents of Chetan and Rohan said they had only intervened to rescued the girl and have demanded their release. Meanwhile, the victim too claimed that the two youths came to her aid because she sought their help and demanded that they be released.
